Grammostola grossa 1”size 1 One of the largest Grammostola species with the same great gentle nature. Native to several South American countries these long lived spiders can get leg spans of 7. Described in 1871 by Austrian naturalist Anton Ausserer as Lasiocnemus grossus, but moved to the Grammostola genus in 1994 by Gnter Schmidt. These awesome terrestrial spiders have a beautiful silvery color that will be an eye popper in any collection.
