Hysterocrates laticeps group of 5size 1 2 Large fossorial tarantulas that will dig intense tunnel systems, but also spend some time on the surface as well. This Hysterocrates species can be distinguished from the others by the narrow tibia of leg IV and the deep chocolate brown femurs that are darker then the rest of this spider. Ive personally raised this species in a communal setting with much success. They will share large prey items together or feed on smaller prey alone. From
