Its varnish is a beautiful apricot over a golden ground with a handsome medium curl flame slanting upward from the center joint. Its ribs and scroll are of the same maple and flaming, with purfling along the scroll. This violin is inspired by the Baron Knoop Stradivari of 1715, which the luthier has emulated with antiquing. Interior label reads:
