tenacityI was commissioned by private collectors Maile & Greg to create KOI ll. My second KOI original. It was a wonderful collaboration and one that pushed my artistic skills. They gave me a photograph of the KOI they wanted, and let me at it. KOI are a symbol of "tenacity" in Japanese culture because they are known for swimming against strong currents and overcoming obstacles. Such an inspiration.
