Gibson 1996 Gibson Les Paul Studio Modded.Notes I believe the fretboard has been replaced on this guitar with a rosewood board with binding. The binding nibs have mostly been removed, and there is a line along where the fretboard joins the neck that can be felt with a fingernail. There are no dead frets on the fretboard and the guitar generally plays well, but bending either E string to the outside edge of the neck will cause the string to slip over the edge of the fret.
