Just after sunrise at Ross Bay, a thin band of warm light along the horizon pushing against all that grey, and mostly failing. But that struggle gave the morning its character. From above, the headland reads almost like a map of itself. The rocky promontory pushing out into the Atlantic, waves working both sides of it, green fields sitting calmly on top as if the ocean beneath them
