It does not have any stitching running down the sides, so it is open until the side seam with armholes. There is the waistband under the bust, and no elastic band, but it does have internal tues to pull that waistband in. It also has a metal center back zipper closure. It has been washed and steamed and is ready to wear in amazing condition! No tags, I believe her to be handmade.
