Furcraea macdougaliiMacDougall's Century Plant, Tree Furcraea: A large rosette forming succulent (related to Agave) that has 6' long dark green stiffly upright leaves with regularly spaced hooked teeth growing at the top of an unbranched trunk that can be 8' tall or more. When this plant blooms it produces a spike with greenish white flowers that can rise over 20'. After the main stem flowers it produces bulbils around the main stalk, perpetuating the plant's life.
