House Fire Candle HoldersUnfortunately, my home town has plenty of abandoned housing stock in the South City area. Beautiful, huge brick homes built in the late 18th or early 19th century. Back when a 2x4 was actually closer to three by five inches. I was passing by the charred remains of one such abandoned house fire not long after they STLFD had snuffed the flames. I was struck by the mangled mess of bricks and timbers. I had to stop and throw a few pieces in the back of my
