Moonrise II, GreenlandI'd been watching this glacier all afternoon from the boat, waiting for the light to drop. As we got closer, the moon appeared above the ridge, barely clearing the rock. Perfect timing for once. The glacier itself is remarkable. It flows diagonally down the mountainside, heavily crevassed, the ice carrying that blue white colour that only shows properly in twilight. The crevasses are massive, though the scale is deceptive until you notice the boulders
