Cupid and Psyche by Mari Eckstein GowerCupid and Psyche is a portion of a larger, one of a kind piece which was commissioned by the University of Washington special collections library for the "Just One Look" exhibition. I used Sarah Ruden's translation of the "Golden Ass" by Apeleius as my primary source material for the myth as well as the quotes about the trials of Venus which appear on the butterfly wings in the book.
