2003 The Gibson, F5 "Fern" Master Model Mandolin #31114010Danny Roberts signed the Label on Nov 14, 2003, in a period that is highly rated for these Master Model Mandolins. The "Fern" relates to the inlay on the Headstock, it's relevance is that the original F5 "Ferns" were the Mandolin produced after Lloyd Loar, (about 1927 I think) left the Factory and no longer signed the Mandolins once he approved them.
